Our Guest this week is Megan Walker

She is the Executive Director of the London Abused Women’s Centre, a position she has held since 1997.  As a social justice and equality advocate, she has taken political, social and personal action in her efforts to end violence and abuse against women. Megan initiated Ontario’s Silent Witness Project and the Shine the Light on Woman Abuse campaign. Megan co-authored the report Criminal Justice System Response to Men’s Violence Against Women and continues to advocate for a criminal code amendment to recognize domestic violence as a separate piece of legislation.
