Starting this week was the city calling a ’emergency’ news conference on the death of two seals being transported from Storybook Gardens to the St. Louis zoo. We talk about if the communication strategy  was a good idea in this case. Abe had a great blog post on this.

We talked about Glen’s piece on the Salvation Army.

Also on the topic of communication we talked about the departure of Ross Fair from the City of London.

We moved on to the various proposals brought to the city’s investment and economic prosperity committee.

Citizen’s Panel is at the Stonybrook Branch of the London Public Library on June 13th.

London Food Bank is having it’s 16th Annual London Cares Curbside Food Drive is coming June 8-16, 2012. They also hosted His Excellency the Right Honorable David Johnston. Governor General of Canada.

London Transit gets 9.6 million from the Provincial government.

London Fringe is going on, some great shows.
